Using FPGA technology, the SPPM enables parallel computing and processing high-throughput data in real time. It supports interference analysis, object recognition, and artificial intelligence. FPGA processors as an on-board computer can also perform picture averaging, compression, and trend analysis, enhancing payload data processing capabilities. Additionally, it offers upgradability for code and board architecture configuration, crucial for satellite reconfiguration during mission updates, enabling multiple Earth observation missions.

Camera Payload and Processing Unit (CPPU)

The Camera Payload and Processing Unit (CPPU) by EMM is a compact, radiation-tolerant module designed for satellite camera control and power management. It supports high-resolution image capture via a MIPI-CSI2.0 interface and enables flexible camera placement up to one meter away. With built-in AI filtering, reliable RS485 communication, and a constant 2A output for deployment mechanisms, the CPPU is ideal for satellite self-inspection tasks such as solar panel verification.
